Patents and Permits

212 Resources treats produced and flow back waters to meet surface discharge and beneficial use standards. The units are powered by natural gas from the local site or from external electrical hook-ups. Our six-step water treatment system delivery includes both fixed plants and transportable well-site units:

The Steps

  • Collection and gravity settling of solids
  • Course filtration
  • Heated oil/water separation to recover immiscible hydrocarbons
  • Vapor compression, turbulent flow, flash evaporation to recover ten pound brine and distilled water
  • Steam distillation integrated with evaporator for recovery of methanol and other miscible hydrocarbons

Our unparalleled system (specifically targeting the oil and gas industry) is a combination of patented technologies with global acceptance for zero-discharge plants, for the treatment of complex industrial waste water including the oil and gas industry. Along with our existing patent, six additional patents, covering the process and ancillary systems, are pending domestically and internationally.

212Resources eliminates the heavy demand to drill fresh water wells by totally recycling the water throughout the drilling process. The post-completion water is treated to discharge standards for use at other well completions or for surface drilling. The Vacom vapor compression, flash evaporation system (turbulent flow) is applicable for high TSD waters from deep well hydraulic fracing natural gas wells, deep coal bed methane wells, and other oil and gas produced waters.

Our company’s permit allows us to treat any drill site with the submission of a simple Sundry Notice letter to the WYOGCC.
